The Green Lady Lounge is a classy, speakeasy-style cocktail and jazz lounge with an inviting, old-school charm. There’s a $10 cover charge, and they check IDs at the door. Once you step inside, smooth jazz music fills the air, setting the perfect mood. The lighting is warm and atmospheric, with beautiful vintage hanging lanterns adding to the nostalgic vibe. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and the live band was fantastic—definitely one of the highlights of the night. They offer both cocktails and mocktails, with mocktails priced around $10 and cocktails starting at $12, depending on your choice of liquor. My favorite drink was the Berries and Cream mocktail, while my husband loved the Dark & Spicy Mule. While they don’t serve full meals, they do have a few snack items and desserts to enjoy alongside your drinks. I also appreciated that when you close out your tab, you have the option to tip the band directly on your receipt—a nice touch that supports the live music. Overall, The Green Lady Lounge is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great jazz, quality drinks, and an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere.

Incredible atmosphere. Very talented jazz players. Definitely gets packed pretty quickly so I would advise getting in on the earlier side of things if you want a seat.

Loved Green Lady Lounge. The vibes are amazing, the music is super good, and the drinks hit the spot. Everyone working there is really friendly too. Such a cool spot to hang out and enjoy live jazz.

Crowded in the best of ways. Love music upstairs and down. We have a big booth with a server who checked in regularly, and the cocktails were great. Best espresso martini I've ever had and there was a gin drink that's escaping me, but it was really good too. Make sure you too the staff AND the band if you go! It's two different line items on the check and they deserve to get some $$$.

Relaxing, tranquil, serene, vibes, and so much more that can’t be put into words! The live music was amazing! Takes you on a journey and allows you to momentarily escape from the toxicity of the world. Service was amazing! Drinks were creative and refreshing! Anytime I’m in KC, I will be sure to visit!

I loved this place so much! The ambience is so sexy and warm. I would love to go again, it was my first time and I want to repeat. From the music to the lights, you got me guys. The service was great, the servers were so kind all the time asking us if we were good, I liked that. See you soon!

This place was totally my vibe, the music 🎶, the food, the service and the atmosphere was great! I ordered a few Bloody Mary's w/ extra olives 🫒 of course and we had the Charcuterie Board which was excellent (Crackers, Brie Cheese, Goat Cheese, Green and Red Grapes 🍇, Blueberries and pieces of Dark Chocolate 🍫). There were different age groups there which is nice as we were all enjoying the music and atmosphere. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted, so the place felt very welcoming! If you're looking for a nice relaxing time to go on a date or hangout with friends to catch up, then this is the place!

This place is a vibe! It gives off cool speakeasy vibes which I love. The band was awesome and the drinks just as good. I heard abt them when I was in KC last year and told myself if I ever came back I’d definitely check the out and glad I did, so worth it.

This hidden Gem is located in the heart of Downtown KC! Not only do they offer excellent musicians to keep you entertained, the atmosphere is like a trip back in time. The moody lightning, antiqued decor and friendly staff offer the type of welcoming that is hard to find. The size and variety of their drink menu is impressive which includes many Mocktails as options. I love that the music is played throughout the evenings starting at 6pm, which is a refreshing change to waiting at most bars for a band to start by 9pm. The seating is cozy and allows for you to just enjoy the music or to meet friends for a gathering. Highly recommend this place to any local or visitor to Kansas City!
